Cardinals Ball Game
LHS Marching band performs before the start of the Cardinals vs Yankee game.
4:30pm Arrive at SPERRENG MS wearing your 4s, band shorts, socks, shoes.
- Load trucks with equipment.
5:15 Depart
5:45 Unload at Stadium
6:45 Enter field
6:50 Perform National Anthem
7:00 Return to load equipment, Receive ticket. Re-enter stadium. Game starts @ 7:15
10:00 Approx. return to SPERRENG MS
This will be a great opportunity to have a lot of fun TOGETHER! In order to make the day run smoothly, please read and follow these guidelines carefully:
- PLEASEMAKE A DECISION: PRIOR TO THE TRIP YOU MUST INDICATE TO MR. WYSS WHETHER OR
NOT YOU PLAN TO RETURN ON THE BUS. FOR ATTENDANCE PURPOSES, WE NEED TO KNOW IN ADVANCE IF YOU PLAN TO GO HOME WITH YOUR PARENTS. WRITTEN/EMAIL PARENT APPROVAL IS REQUIRED FOR STUDENTS RIDING HOME WITH ANOTHER ADULT. EVERYONE RIDES THE BUS TO THE GAME.
- BE RESPONSIBLE: If you are not returning on the bus, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO COORDINATE
WITH ANOTHER BAND MEMBER RETURN YOUR INSTRUMENT TO THE BANDROOM.
- BE POLITE AND COURTEOUS-- People will forget how well you performed if you're not polite! Besides, it's the right thing to do.
- YOU MUST RETURN TO OUR DESIGNATED SEATING AREA BY THE END OF THE SEVENTH INNING (REGARDLESS OF THE SCORE) IF YOU PLAN TO RIDE THE BUS BACK TO SCHOOL. PLEASE RETURN TO OUR DESIGNATED AREA IMMEDIATELY IF THERE IS A RAIN DELAY!
- Have your ticket with you at all times!!
- Bring money for concessions. Busch Stadium is currently still operating as cash-less. We highly suggest providing your student with a credit card or pre-paid card. The stadium does have the option to purchase a Visa debt card at any of their Schnuck’s Grab-n-Go locations at the stadium.
- Please call ahead to have your rides at school when we return after the game.
