Saturday September 13:

• 1:00pm Call time- Show up in 4S’s and report to LHS Flyers Field
• 1:30 Short rehearsal on Flyers Field
• 2:30 Load equipment/Eat early dinner (provided by Bandstanders) 
• 4:00 Depart
• 4:45 Arrive MEMC/Suit up
• 5:45 Equipment ready
• 6:05-6:30 Warmup B
• 6:35 Report 
• 6:45 Performance
• 7:15 Exhibition O’Fallon performance
• 7:45 Awards
• 8:15 Depart (with directors please)
• 9:00 Arrive LHS unload equipment

**Look to section leaders/directors for guidance on call-times that maybe different than calendar. 

MORE INFO:

Students are expected to ride the bus to and from the competition. We learn a great deal by traveling together, watching other bands and experiencing the awards ceremony.

Bandstanders will provide early dinner at LHS.  Concession stand will be available at the competition.  Bring money for additional food/snacks if interested.  

Stadium seating is limited. Bands must sit on visitor’s side of the field.

When in uniform- Uniform is to be worn fully at all times 

Bring jackets/hoodies for after the performance.

No one is to leave the contest site without permission from Mr. Wyss.

Everyone will exhibit the utmost courtesy toward other bands, especially during their performances!!  Please show respect for their hard work by being an attentive and appreciative audience. Any behavior to the contrary is considered beneath the dignity and reputation of this band, our parents and our school. Students and parents are reminded that we are all representatives of Lindbergh. OUR REPUTATION OFF THE FIELD IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANY SUCCESS WE ACHIEVE ON THE FIELD!

APPEARANCE: 

Please arrive in your 4S's (shirt, shorts, socks, and shoes/Dinkles).

Students should arrive with hair already in place when they arrive for call time. Our Uniform Team and Volunteers can make minor adjustments, but hair should be ready to go for the most part when you arrive for a performance. 

Shakos will be worn. 

No fingernail polish of any kind.

No jewelry (except medical alert).

Earrings that cannot be removed will be covered with bandaids

Any piercings or jewelry that are visible and can be removed, should be removed

Students will not get their uniform unless they are fully prepped!

FRONT ENSEMBLE: Please check with section leaders/directors for instructions on hair. 

COLOR GUARD: Specific instructions regarding hair, makeup, and uniforms for performances will come from Mr. Hutson and section leaders.

SPECTATORS:

• There is an admission fee to Metro East Marching Classic.  MB/CG Students do not have to pay. 
• $10/Adults.  $5/Children (5-12).  Free for children 4 and under.  
• *Cash only. There will be an ATM machine available on site.

Directions to O’Fallon Township HS (600 S Smiley St, O'Fallon, IL 62269)

Take Interstate 64 East to Exit 16 (Greenmount Rd). Turn left and end of ramp Travel north on Greenmount approx ½ mile (CVS on right), turn right at light (Hwy 50) Travel east on Hwy 50 approx. 2.6 miles. Turn left on Weber Rd. (immediately past the football field) Bus parking lot will be on the right.
