Homecoming Parade & Football Game with Band Alumni

• 3:30pm- Call time @ Sperreng MS
  • Please be dropped off at Sperreng OR carpool and park at Southside Church. 
  • Show up in 4S's and hair ready for the parade/football game
  • Uniforms will NOT be worn for the parade but will be worn for football game.  
• 4:30- Parade step-off
• 5:30- Eat dinner in LHS South Cafeteria (provided by Bandstanders)
• 6:00- Put on uniforms/shakos
• 6:15- Troop to field
• 6:30- PREGAME HS Show Performance/form block for Anthem
•          Following performance move ALL band into band bleachers
• 7:00- Game begins
• HALFTIME- Performance with Alumni!
• 3rd Quarter- Break 
• End of 3rd Quarter- Report back to bleachers
• END OF GAME- report for Alma Mater
• 10:30ish- Release

APPEARANCE:

• Students should come dressed in their 4S’s (shirt, shorts, socks, and shoes/dinkles).
• Uniforms will be worn. 
• Exception for this week, fingernail polish is allowed since it's Homecoming weekend. 
• No jewelry (except medical alert). 
• Shakos will be worn.  Hair should be DONE when student arrives to school.  
• Hair should be off the collar. Hair should be smooth and tight around the ears and back of head. 
• Students will not get their uniform unless they are fully prepped.

• FRONT ENSEMBLE: Specific instructions for hair come from section leader/director. 
• COLOR GUARD: Specific instructions regarding hair, makeup, and uniforms for performances will come from Mr. Hutson and section leaders. 

The marching band and color guard students will participate in the parade and football game.   Freshman-Junior members march in the parade route.  Senior members can ride on a float. Parents/families are welcome to sit along the parade route.
