BOA Kentucky Regional Competition

Friday, October 2 

• 7:00-8:00am Morning Rehearsal
• 8:00 Luggage check in Auditorium lobby/store luggage on stage
• 12:10pm Power lunch ends/report to band room.  Eat lunch before boarding buses. 
• 12:15 Bus bag check (auditorium lobby)
  • Load luggage, use restrooms, fill water bottles load buses
• 1:00 Depart for Kentucky
• 6:30pm EST Dinner stop on the way ($10 provided by Bandstanders)
• 7:30 Depart dinner stop and head to hotel 
• 8:00 Arrive at hotel
  • Check into rooms, Free Time
• 10:00 Report to rooms and doors taped

Saturday, October 3

• 8:00 AM – Chaperones wake up/untape rooms
  • Breakfast at hotel from 8:00-9:00– (provided by Bandstanders)
  • Attire: Wear 4S’s - Dinkles must be on your feet when loading bus.
  • Get hair show-ready.  Chaperones will be available in hotel to assist with hair. 
  • Pack luggage to be loaded onto the buses. Make sure you have everything needed for the competition with you on the bus, including hair supplies, makeup, etc.
• 10:30 AM – Load buses
• 11:00 AM –     Depart hotel
• 11:05 AM – Arrive at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium, University of Louisville
  • Free Time – Watch other bands perform
  • Lunch – Eat at concessions. Bring a credit card or plan to use cashless payment. Lunch must be completed by 1:00 PM.
  • *Uniform team will be available to do hair touch-ups from 12:30-1:30pm
• 1:30 PM – Hair must be show-ready
• 1:30 PM – GUARD: Suit up
• 1:50 PM – MARCHING BAND: Suit up
• 2:20–3:05 PM – Warm-up – Area B
• 2:20–2:50 PM – Pit warm-up
• 3:05 PM – Pit report
• 3:20 PM – Band report
• 3:30 PM EST – Prelims Performance – AAA Division
  • *Keep hair SHOW-READY for if we make Finals 
• 4:30 PM – PRELIM AWARDS
• 5:00 PM – Dinner – Provided by Bandstanders
• 7:30 PM – Finals Performances Begin. 
  • Top 12 Band with the highest scores in preliminaries will perform in the Finals 
• 10:45 PM – FINALS AWARDS CEREMONY
• 11:30 PM (EST) – Depart for LHS

Sunday, October 4

• 3:30am (CST) Approximate return to LHS.
